  • Interface Segregation Principle (ISP): Clients should not be forced to depend on interfaces they do not use. It suggests that interfaces should be specific to the needs of the clients that use them, rather than having large interfaces with a lot of methods. This principle promotes loose coupling and allows for better maintainability and flexibility.

  • Dependency Inversion Principle (DIP): High-level modules should not depend on low-level modules. Both should depend on abstractions. Abstractions should not depend on details; details should depend on abstractions. This principle encourages decoupling between modules by relying on abstractions (interfaces or abstract classes) instead of concrete implementations.

By following these principles, developers can create code that is more modular, testable, and easier to maintain. They provide a guideline for writing software that is more flexible and resistant to changes, promoting good software design and architecture.
